Start with the decision

Which important positioning statements still lack a delivery or customer-evidence basis?

Small-business founders drafting an initial service position.

From input to next step.

  1. 01

    Name the customer and task

Describe a recognisable situation and outcome. Avoid defining the audience as everyone or claiming a broad transformation you cannot show.

  2. 02

    State the deliverable and boundary

List what the buyer receives and what remains their responsibility. Compare alternatives fairly using evidence rather than unsupported superiority claims.

  3. 03

    Check every claim

Link the basis for important statements and remove promises that exceed actual delivery. Test whether customers understand the message without treating positive feedback as purchase intent.
