Start with the decision

How many comparable sales periods would the entered stock represent?

Small sellers reviewing items with recorded low movement.

From input to next step.

  1. 01

    Choose a comparable period

Use the same period definition for observed movement and stock cover. Record promotions or unavailable-stock periods separately.

  2. 02

    Reconcile the inputs

Enter current stock, observed units sold in the chosen period and unit cost. Do not substitute a sales target for history.

  3. 03

    Investigate the item

Review demand evidence, product condition and commitments before changing price or ordering. Historical cover is not a forecast.

A look inside

The example, in plain sight.
